Summer Reading: Charleston County Public Library June Programs
The Charleston County Public Library is hosting plenty of summer programs

With Charleston County Public Library hosting hundreds of free activities, classes, movies and lectures in June, there is truly something for everyone at the local library. County residents can enjoy a cello concert, African drumming, computer classes, book clubs, Spanish class, crafts and so much more. Some of the highlights are listed below, and a full event listing is attached.
Summer Reading kick off featuring a live, interactive theater show by Porkchop Productions
- June 3 – John’s Island Regional at 2 p.m.
- June 4 – Main Library at 9:15 and 10:45 a.m.; West Ashley Branch at 4 p.m.
- June 5 – John L. Dart Branch at 10:30 a.m.; St. Andrews Regional at 2 p.m.; Otranto Road Regional at 4 p.m.
- June 6 – Cooper River Memorial Branch at 10:30 a.m.; Dorchester Road Regional at 2 p.m.; Mt. Pleasant Regional at 4 p.m.
- June 7 – Mt. Pleasant Regional at 10:30 a.m.

Computer and technology classes, such as:
- Tech Toy Box to learn about the latest gadgets – Main Library on June 5 at 2 p.m.; Otranto Road Regional on June 12 at 3 p.m.; and Main Library on June 24 at 5 p.m.
- Summer Computer Camp to learn computer fundamentals – Main Library on June 17-20 from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
