  1. Charleston broke a six-decade-old temperature record on Tuesday. The 87-degree day yesterday (Mar. 7) surpassed the city's original record high temperature for the date which was 86 degrees in 1961. The city has now had six record temperature recordings since Feb. 21. (ABC NEWS 4)
  2. The Hollings Cancer Center at MUSC has launched a new Community Health Van, bringing cancer prevention and awareness information to medically underserved areas across South Carolina. The van offers vaccinations and emphasizes the importance of getting screened for various cancers such as lung, breast, and colon. The launch is part of Hollings' outreach efforts to bring early detection and preventative healthcare to the wider community. (ABC NEWS 4)
  3. The Charleston Police Department has issued a public appeal to locate Haley Still, a 15-year-old girl who was reported missing by a friend after being last seen in Hampton Park on Mar. 2. She was wearing a dark blue jacket and black or gray sweatpants and has an upper lip piercing as well as a nose ring. Although there have been recent reports of possible sightings of Still in the Columbia area, the police urge anyone with information to contact Consolidated Dispatch by calling (843) 743-7200.
