• Wednesday Web 3: Festive Information (myclintonnews.com) — Local leaders gathered at the former American Legion Hut in Clinton as District 56 reported strong finances and major upgrades to school security, athletics, and technology. Clinton schools highlighted new bleachers at Wilder Stadium, resurfaced tennis courts at Clinton Middle, rebranding at Clinton Elementary, and an Early College program at Clinton High, plus recognition for local elementary programs and performances with Presbyterian College.
   

• Wednesday Web 2: "No" to a planned development (myclintonnews.com) — Clinton’s Planning Commission has unanimously rejected a proposed planned development that would have mixed commercial and residential uses on 23 acres near Willard Road, Springdale Drive, and Baldwin Circle by the high and middle schools. Commissioners said the plan was too vague and incompatible with nearby R1 neighborhoods, despite the developer citing Clinton’s growth and nearby projects as reasons to move forward.
   

• Englehart Steps Down as Presbyterian Head Football Coach (whosonthemove.com) — Presbyterian College’s head football coach Steve Englehart is leaving after four seasons, just one day after leading the Blue Hose to a rare 10-win year that energized Clinton fans. Athletic Director Dee Nichols praised his impact and says a national search is underway to find the next head coach, with updates promised once a hire is made.
