Today in Columbia:
- Mid-Week Lunch Get-Together At Market on Main (12:00 PM)
- Exhibit- The Art of Being: Woman At Richland County Public Library (1:00 PM)
- The Lion King At Kings Center For The Arts (7:30 PM)
From my notebook:
- What a great gesture by the Hammond School! Just a few days after our Columbia Fire Department crews saved the lower school there from a fast-moving 2-alarm fire, some of our firefighters took a photo with a group of Hammond students. The school then used that photo to show their thanks through a billboard! (Facebook)
- Columbia Fireflies Fan Fest is coming up this weekend — it's going to be lots of fun! Fan Fest is going to be free and open to the public! Kids 12 and under eat free, and draft beers are half-priced. (Facebook)
