Rainy Weather Causes 3 Rivers Music Festival to Postpone Show

The 3 Rivers Music Festival will be held over two weekends on July 6 and July 13.

Update, 12:10 p.m. July 12, 2013: Organizers of the 3 Rivers Music Festival have postponed Saturday's performances due to the weather, according to a report from WLTX. 

R&B artist Musiq Soulchild and country artist Lee Greenwood were scheduled to perform.

The 3 Rivers Music Festival is back and organizers have booked some popular acts from several genres of music for two weekends in July beginning Saturday.

Some acts scheduled to perform at the revived festival over the two weekends include R&B artist Musiq Soulchild, country artist Lee Greenwood and gospel singer J. Moss.

Gospel acts kick off the festival on Saturday, July 6 starting at 1 p.m. with music from J. Moss, Kathy Taylor, Tiffany J. and more. 

Saturday's gospel events will be held at St. Andrews Park, 920 Beatty Rd  Columbia.

On July 13, R&B artists will perform at 1 p.m. at Park and Pendelton streets.

If you like country and rock music, head over to Park and Lady streets at 11 a.m. as  Lee Greenwood and more kick off the festival. 

Attendees can also expect a variety of vendors including crafters, artists and food providers as well as a play area for kids.

Admission is free.
