Some late Christmas presents or early 2013 gifts did not make their appointed shipment dates after someone ransacked a shipment from Amazon at the St. Andrews Post Office. According to a Richland County Sheriff's Department report, "numerous" packages on three pallets from Amazon were opened and possibly stolen between New Year's Eve and Jan. 2 at 1120 Briargate Circle in Columbia near Interstate 20 and Broad River Road. At the time the incident report was filed, there was no estimated value of the missing items.
