Arrests Made in Shooting Death of Woman at Columbia Bakery
Interim Columbia Police Chief Ruben Santiago will release additional information about the shooting death of a Columbia woman inside a bakery last week.

The Columbia Police Department will hold a news conference today at 2:30 p.m. to announce arrests made in the shooting death of a 33-year-old Columbia woman, according to spokeswoman Jennifer Timmons.
Kelly L. Hunnewell, 33, was found dead inside a bakery on Tommy Circle off North Beltline Boulevard on July 1 after police were notified by a neighbor.
Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said an autopsy showed Hunnewell died from complications of a gunshot wound to the upper body.
City police released surveillance video last week that showed three men entering the bakery around 3:30 a.m.
Police say a neighbor reported hearing a woman screaming and gunshots being fired around the same time the suspects were in the bakery.
Interim Police Chief Ruben Santiago will release additional information regarding the case. Patch will post an update on this story when more information becomes available.
