Here are the top three stories in Columbia today:

  1. Arts & Draughts is returning to Columbia for the first time since 2019. The popular museum festival did not occur in person for the last three years because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The festival will be held at the Columbia Museum of Art on April 22nd and feature live music, food, and art activities. (columbiabusinessreport.com)
  2. Columbia, South Carolina has been ranked the 14th worst city for allergy sufferers, according to The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. According to the list, the spring in Columbia is worse for allergies than the fall. Most of the top 100 cities are located on the east coast. (WLTX.com)
  3. A University of South Carolina Police Officer saved a runner's life who passed out during a race. Officer Chris Kibbee performed two and a half rounds of CPR after a runner collapsed during a Veterans Day 5K last year. The victim is alive and grateful for Officer Kibbee's help. (WACH.com)
