Bryan Stirling Replaces Tim Pearson As Haley's Chief of Staff
Deputy AG begins new assignment on Oct. 15.

Gov. Nikki Haley was not exaggerating. At a press conference on Tuesday morning she said that an announcement for Tim Pearson's replacement as her Chief of Staff would be made soon.
By Tuesday afternoon, Bryan Stirling, a Deputy Attorney General since 2007, had been named as the new Chief of Staff. Pearson announced his departure on Monday. He'll be heading up Haley's re-election effort, though Haley has not officially declared her candidacy.
Stirling assumes his new role on Oct. 15.
