Child Injured in Apartment Shooting to be Released from Hospital
A 4-year-old child who was injured during a shooting at the Colony Apartments last week is expected to be released from the hospital.

A 4-year-old girl who was shot by a stray bullet during a shooting at the Colony Apartments last week was expected to be released from the hospital Tuesday, the Columbia Police Department announced.
The child was watching television in her home on Bailey Street when she was hit injured in the shootout between a group of people on foot and a person or persons in a silver Dodge Charger on July 8 at the apartment complex near West Beltline Boulevard.
Columbia Police located the vehicle in Charlotte, N.C., and arrested one suspect in the case.
Marcus Sinclaire Gantt, 21, was arrested on July 10 and charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, and unlawful carrying of a pistol.
City police continue to search for Laquan Lamont Natt, 20, who they say is a "person of interest."
Natt is also a suspect in an armed robbery on the 1500 block of Bailey Street.
