Columbia Father Arrested in Infant Son's Death Faces Another Charge
A 22-year-old man is facing charges of child abuse and homicide by child abuse.

A Columbia man who was charged last week in the killing of his infant son will now face an additional charge of child abuse involving his young daughter.
Aqien Jamar Miller, 22, was served with an additional warrant Thursday afternoon while being held at the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center on a charge of abuse/to inflict great bodily injury upon a child, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
Miller is accused of forcefully shaking and squeezing his biological 1-year-old daughter causing serious injures to her upper and lower body between May 15, 2012, and September 17, 2012, Richland Sheriff Leon Lott said in a release Friday.
Last week, investigators charged Miller with homicide by child abuse for the death of his infant son.
Tyler Jamar Miller died on Aug. 8 after he was admitted to Palmetto Health Richland under "suspicious circumstances," Richland County Coroner Gary Watts said.
An autopsy showed the infant died from complications of blunt force trauma, Watts said.
