Petrez C. Kelly, 22, was reported missing by his mother Friday afternoon.
Kelly was last seen at 1 p.m. when his mother dropped him off at the Greyhound bus station on Gervais Street to take a bus to Myrtle Beach to meet his uncle, police said.
When Kelly did not reach his destination several hours later, the uncle became concerned and contacted Kelly's mother.
It is not known if Kelly boarded the bus in Columbia or walked away from the bus station.
After leaving downtown Columbia, the bus Kelly was supposed to take was scheduled to make four stops to: Fort Jackson, Camden, Florence and Myrtle Beach. Two additional buses at the same station were scheduled to travel to Atlanta and Savannah.
Kelly was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, orange and gray plaid button-up shirt, light blue jeans, and orange and gray Nike tennis shoes.
His last known address is on Olive Drive in Green Sea, S.C.
