Columbia's 'Busted Plug' Has a New Home

A four-story fire hydrant sculpture in Columbia has found a new home.

The "Busted Plug" created by local artist Blue Sky will be the centerpiece of a splash pad for children in Finlay Park, according to a report from The State.

Columbia City Council voted 4-1 in favor of building the water pad near the corner of Taylor and Gadsden streets, according to the report.

A final plan for the design and cost has not been determined.

The sculpture's home since it was commissioned by a local bank is located on Taylor Street in the same parking lot as Sky's "Tunnelvision."
