The<a href="https://columbia-sc.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/columbia-police-suspect-foul-play-after-body-found"> man whose body was found on the side of a Richland County road</a> died from complications of a gunshot wound, Coroner Gary Watts said Friday. Samuel S. Clemons, 37, of Columbia, was found around 8 a.m. Thursday on the side of the road of Center Street near McFadden Street, Watts said.   An autopsy conducted Friday morning showed the victim died from complications of a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to the coroner's office.  Columbia Police said Thursday they suspect foul play in the man's death.  A passerby discovered the man's body, police said, and called 911.The Columbia Police Department continues to investigate.
