During the primary race for the First Congressional District, South Carolina Democrats made little secret of their desire to face former Gov. Mark Sanford in the general election.
A video the SCDP released Friday morning shows why. It's set to Justin Timberlake's "Gone."

""Governor Sanford has been open, honest and apologetic about that dark time in our state, but it's time for Elizabeth Colbert Busch to stop trying to hide her liberal views on the issues from voters," said Alex Stroman, Executive Director of the SCGOP. "Had Republicans and Democrats listened to Mark Sanford the last time he was in Congress (on the issues of spending, our debt and restoring our fiscal house) we'd be much better off as a nation. Gov. Sanford will return to Congress with those same themes; unfortunately, Colbert Busch will just be a rubber-stamp for the policies that Obama and his fellow liberals which have brought us to the breaking point."
