A man was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition after he was stabbed during a physical altercation early Sunday morning, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department.  The man was stabbed in the upper body during an altercation with another man at 851 Bush River Road around 6 a.m., Richland County Sheriff's spokesman Curtis Wilson said.  The victim was taken to Lexington Medical Center, Wilson said.  The identity of the suspect and victim have not been released. No other information about the incident was available. The incident remains under investigation by the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
