Deputies: One Person Dead After Early Morning Stabbing
The Richland County Sheriff's Department is investigating the stabbing death of one person at a home near Fernandina Road.
One person is dead after being stabbed at a home early Wednesday morning near the St. Andrews area, according to the sheriff's department.
Sheriff's department spokesman Curtis Wilson said deputies responded to a homicide around 2 a.m. Wednesday at a home at Rembert Martin Park and found that one person was stabbed multiple times in the lower body.
Rembert Martin Park is located between Fernandina and Broad River roads.
The victim died while en route to a local hospital, Wilson said.
The person was able to provide some information. Deputies continue to investigate the incident.
