Deputies Seek Woman for Debit Card Fraud

Deputies say the woman stole another woman's card from a nail salon.

Richland County deputies are looking for a woman who they say stole another woman's debit card at a nail salon. 

The victim told deputies someone stole her debit card on April 23 while she was at Asia Nails and Tanning at 422 Bush River Road, according to the sheriff's department.

When she realized her card had been stolen, she cancelled it, according to the sheriff's department. The bank told her it had been used to make a $25 purchase at Asia Nails and Tanning and a $2.68 purchase at the Family Dollar at 1013 Broad River Road.

Video surveillance captured a woman making a purchase with the card at Family Dollar. 

Deputies are asking anyone with information about the woman to call Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
