Evidence Strong in Missing Woman Homicide
Though police have not found a body, the charges filed show they are confident Kimberly Parrish is dead.
The evidence in a recent homicide investigation is strong enough to prompt a murder charge even though police have yet to find a body.
Kimberly Parrish went missing on Dec. 21. Kenneth Cutter was arrested and charged with murder after Orangeburg deputies found DNA and clothing belonging to Parrish abandoned near Cutter's home, The State reports.

As of Dec. 16, there have been 378 murder trials in the US in which there were no bodies found, according to Thomas DiBiase, a specialist in no-body trials. 10 of those trials were in South Carolina including one in Columbia and one in Lexington.

Just in May, Kenneth Lynch of Lexington was convicted and sentenced to life in prison in the deaths of Portia Washington and Angelica Livingston. The bodies of Washington and Livingston were never found.
