1. Richland County Meetings

Richland County Council committee meetings will be held Tuesday starting at 5 p.m. at 2020 Hampton Street. A special called meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. View agenda here

2. Riverbanks Zoo's Toucan Tuesdays

Two people can visit Riverbanks Zoo for the price of one on Tuesday with a donation of two non-perishable food items for Harvest Hope. Guests who donate also save on ICEE's, fountain drinks and more. Details here

3. Rainy Weather

Today's weather forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11 a.m. The high is near 90 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. 

4. Adult Basketball League

Do you like to play basketball? Registration is underway for an Adult Basketball League. Teams of up to four people can enter. Must be 18 years old to participate. Cost to enter is $60 per team. Games are played every Saturday starting Aug. 3 and will end Aug. 31 with a single-elimination tournament. For more information, call 803-545-3200.

5. Sonic Offers $1 Hot Dogs

In honor of National Hot Dog Day, participating Sonic Drive-In's are serving $1 hot dogs all day Tuesday. Get an All American hot dog and Chili Cheese Coneys for $1.
