Harrell Says Attacks On Him Driven By Liberal Media

In a letter to supporters on his website, House Speaker Bobby Harrell said the is a ploy by the liberal media to "disrupt our conservative message and distract the public." 

Harrell also wrote that he is in full compliance with ethics laws and the Charleston Post and Courier, which first broke the story has subsequently had to issue corrections since the initial story was published.
