Holiday Closings: Memorial Day

The following offices will be closed Monday:

Government

• Federal offices

• State offices

• Fort Jackson offices

• Richland County offices. There will be no garbage, recycling, or yard waste pickup. The county C&D landfill off of Monticello Road and the Lower Richland Drop off center will be closed. Solid waste pick up will run a day behind schedule.

• Lexington County offices

• The town of Irmo offices. Trash collection will run on its normal schedule.

• The town of Lexington offices. Solid Waste and Recycling Collection will run on its normal schedule. 

• City of Columbia offices. Garbage and recyclable collection will be on the regular schedule.

• The S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles

Banks

Many banks and credit unions will be closed Monday. Please check with your local branch.

Services

• Post offices

• All Richland County Recreation Commission facilities. The LinRick golf course will be open.

• All branches of the Lexington County Public Library system will be closed Monday. 

• All Richland County Public Library locations will be closed on Sunday and Monday.
