From Richland School District 1 Jonathan Evans, a rising senior at W.J. Keenan High School, is making beautiful music and breaking new artistic ground for Richland One. Jonathan has been accepted into the All-National Honor Symphony Orchestra for 2013, making him the first Richland One orchestra student to participate in the National Honor Ensembles. The All-National Honor Ensembles, which is sponsored by the National Association for Music Education (NAfME), represent the top-performing high school musicians in the United States. The ensembles will perform October 27-30 in Nashville with world-renowned conductors at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. Only students meeting strict requirements are eligible for the NAfME All-National Honor Ensembles.
