
A Richland County man is hospitalized after another man beat him with a pistol and stole his car.
Around 8:45 p.m., the victim was waiting in his car on Saluda River Road when his car was rear-ended by a Tahoe, a sheriff's office spokesman said.
The driver, a black woman, got out of the car and started talking to the victim. Then, two men got out of the Tahoe. One of them hit the victim in the head with a pistol and knocked him unconscious. He was taken to Palmetto Richland.

They then stole his car and wallet.
Deputies are searching for the stolen car, a 2006 Chrysler with South Carolina tags: HRX-721.
