Man Runs Over Security Guard's Foot at Richland County Nightclub

A security guard at a nightclub near Broad River Road had his foot run over during an assault early Sunday morning. 

The incident occurred around 1 a.m. at Mr. Lucky's located at 2605 Seminole Road when the guard was escorting an individual to his vehicle after a disturbance in inside the club, Richland County Sheriff's spokesman Curtis Wilson said. 

The suspect ran over the guard's foot when he backed up the vehicle, Wilson said.

The guard then fired multiple shots at the vehicle. 

Wilson said there was no indication anyone inside the vehicle was injured. 

The incident remains under investigation by the Richland County Sheriff's Department.
