6th annual National Night Out Kickoff
The city Of Columbia and the Columbia Council of Neighborhoods is hosting the 6th annual National Night Out Kickoff from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday, on Taylor Street next to Finlay Park. This year’s kickoff event will feature a variety of public safety vehicles, live entertainment, inflatable rides, displays on home security, Karaoke Idol and tons of family fun.
Sharks. Tornado. Enough said.
Did you miss Syfy's airing of "Sharknado?" Don't worry two theaters in Columbia are showing the SyFy channel original will play midnight Friday.

Primetime in the Park
Prime Time in the Park, a safe and fun alternative for Columbia youth ages 13 to 18, will be held at Pinehurst and Hyatt parks. Activities include music, games and sports. The free event is from 7 to 11 p.m.
Devine Street's annual Sidewalk Sale and Art Stroll
Head over to Devine Street for the annual Sidewalk Sale and Art Stroll from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Boutique Shopping Corridor. Shop with participating merchants and take a look at local artists artwork on display. The cost is free
Enjoy a night of unique art, local food, drinks and shopping at the Rosewood Night Market. the market is held from 6 to 9 p.m. at 2761 Rosewood Drive.
