One Dead in Single-Vehicle Wreck on Farrow Road

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday on Farrow Road. 

The accident occurred at 11:50 a.m. on Farrow Road at Interstate 77 when a 1998 Ford Explorer traveling north ran off the roadway, went down an embankment and struck a tree, said highway patrol Sgt. Bob Beres. 

The driver, whose identity has not been released, was not wearing a seat belt, Beres said. 

The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
