One Injured in Bar Shooting Near Broad River Road

One person was injured after an early morning shooting at a bar near Broad River Road Saturday, according to the Richland County Sheriff's Department. 

Deputies responded to a shots fired call just after 4 a.m. at Exclusive Bar & Grill located at 1004 Zimalcrest Drive. 

Five people were standing in the parking lot when a male suspect in an older model red Ford Taurus approached the group and fired multiple shots at the group and their vehicles, said sheriff's department spokesman Curtis Wilson. 

Deputies were able to locate one victim — a male who was shot in the upper body — at Lexington Medical Center, Wilson said.

The four other victims were not injured. 

The shooting remains under investigation.
