Here are the top three stories in Columbia today:

  1. A has been man arrested and charged after turning himself in for homicide in Richland County. William Santos was arrested after turning himself in on Mar. 23 for the killing of Marcus Outen. Outen died in a shooting that occurred in February. (WLTX.com)
  2. The heart of Columbia's Vista will soon get a new upscale restaurant-cocktail lounge. The Silk Restaurant and Lounge will open this May. It will open at 902 Gervais Street, where the Carolina Strip Club formerly was. (Charleston Post Courier)
  3. On Tuesday, a subcommittee of the Richland County Council approved approve sewage requests. The Richland County Administration and Finance Committee will tap funding for county sewage lines for future projects in the Columbia and lower Richland area.
