Here are the top three stories today in Columbia:
- Columbia Police investigating an incident in which a parent reported being shot at while on their way to a local school. The parent was driving to Arden Elementary School when he thought someone had fired a gun at him. No further details were reported and no there were no injuries. (WLTX.com)
- A Columbia intersection will be dedicated to a fallen Richland County deputy this May. The intersection of Cushman Drive and Baldwin Road will now be called the Deputy Darral Keith Lane Sr. Memorial Intersection, in honor of the deputy who suffered a heart attack while on duty. The intersection will officially be commemorated in May during Police Memorial Week. (WLTX.com)
- The City of Columbia is hosting a career fair at Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on Tuesday, Apr. 26. Several city jobs have open opportunities for Columbia residents. Registration is not required to attend the career fair. (Abccolumbia.com)

- Columbia will have parking restrictions and road closures in place for the upcoming parade on Wednesday, Apr. 13 at 6 p.m. to celebrate the UofSC Women’s Basketball Team on their 2022 National Championship win. Details are available on the city's website. (Facebook)
