PHOTOS, VIDEO: Students, Cocky Read on Statehouse Steps

More than 2,000 students and teachers gathered to promote literacy.

In a rare instance of compatibility, Cocky and the Clemson Tiger teamed up to promote literacy on the statehouse stairs Thursday morning.

As part of the statewide Read-In, students from across the state gathered via "Cocky’s Reading Express" to have several books read to them by state librarians.
