Public Hearing on Bull Street Neighborhood Monday

The first of two public hearings on the proposed Bull Street project is scheduled for today at 2 p.m.

The first public hearing on the proposed Bull Street neighborhood will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Eau Claire Print Building, 3907 Ensor Avenue.

The public is invited to speak on the project, which will be a mix of housing, and retail and office spaces. Construction of a baseball stadium is also proposed.

Construction of the neighborhood would happen over a 20-year period, with the city of Columbia investing $31.25 million.

A second hearing will be held before Columbia City Council votes on the development agreement. The hearing will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at the Earlewood Community Center, 1113 Parkside Drive, before council votes on the agreement.
