Report: First Citizens to Open Main Street Coffee Shop Branch

First Citizens Bank will open a coffee shop in a historic building on Main Street.
The 143-year-old Brennen Building located at 1210 Main Street will be home to the First Citizens Cafe, according to a report from The State.
The shop will be open to the public and feature locally roasted coffees, local baked goods, free Wi-Fi, an image deposit ATM and meeting space.

“It will feel like a regular coffee shop,” bank spokeswoman Angela English told The State. “But it’s also a relaxed, engaging space where you can get useful information and advice to help you manage your financial life.”
Customers will be able to get help with their bank accounts and more through an in-house banker.

The new branch is expected to open in August.
