Report: Macs on Main Employee Accuses Owner of Assault

The alleged assault occurred at the downtown Columbia restaurant owned by Barry A. Walker Sr. of Irmo on April 13.

The owner of Mac's on Main in downtown Columbia is facing an assault and battery charge after one of his waiters accused him of hitting the man in the chest during an altercation at the restaurant in April, according to a report from WIS-TV.

The alleged assault occurred at the restaurant located at 1710 Main Street on April 13 between 49-year-old Tracy Allsbrook and the restaurant's owner, Barry A. Walker Sr., according to the report.

Allsbrook told Columbia Police Walker refused to let him leave the business after a verbal dispute between them became physical, according to a report from The State.

Walker, who serves as Mayor Pro Tem of the Irmo Town Council, requested a jury trial during a court hearing held on June 5, according to The State.
