Here are the top three stories today in Columbia:
- A shooting occurred on Sunday night on the 3400 block of Belvedere Drive off Two Notch Road. One man was injured in the shooting. Officers are asking anyone who may have information regarding the incident to come forward. (WIS News 10)
- Columbia is asking residents for help in making roads safer for pedestrians. Columbia's Bicyclist & Pedestrian Counts is looking for volunteers for traffic studies. The study's results will make decisions about Columbia's landscape. (WACH.com)
- A Columbia man pled guilty to a 2019 Forest Acres bank robbery and kidnapping. Samuel Neathery made a court appearance virtually to plead guilty to one count of armed robbery and six counts of kidnapping. Neathery and Daisy Feliberty, who was also charged with the robbery, have been accused of stealing $10,000 from the Forest Acres credit union. (The State)
