SC1: Kuhn Apologizes to Teddy Turner...Sort Of
It came at an event at the Charleston School of Law.
At an event at the Charleston School of Law, former State Sen. John Kuhn apologized publicly to Teddy Turner for the negative advertisements he had run against him. Except the apology came on Feb. 27.
Last week, residents in SC1 received this piece of mail from the Kuhn for Congress campaign with respect to Turner. Meaning, after Kuhn apologized for the negative ads, he ran them again a week later.
When Patch contacted Turner last week he pronounced himself "flabbergasted."

"John Kuhn spent untold amounts of his own money on two direct mail pieces that were designed to portray Teddy as a supporter of Obamacare, which Teddy has repeatedly said he will fight to defund and repeal, an advocate for amnesty, which Teddy is not, a supporter of ultra-leftwing organizations like Planned Parenthood, which Teddy is not, and, among many other things Teddy is not, a supporter of the UN...Teddy has been vocally opposed to the out-of-control spending in Washington. Addressing this issue will be his top priority as our next member of Congress. Despite what they are asserting, Teddy is also opposed to raising the debt ceiling. However, unlike these grandstanding politicians, Teddy acknowledges extenuating circumstances such as another Hurricane Hugo hitting the Southeast coastline, or a catastrophic terrorist attack like 9/11 befalling our homeland may make it incumbent upon Congress to do just that."
