A new eatery recently opened.
Spork, located at 1410 Colonial Life Boulevard, serves breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday. Menu items include a Palmetto Cuban sandwich, a strawberry almond spinach salad, sweet potato waffle fries and more.

Shutters
AC Moore
AC Moore, an arts and crafts store located at the Harbison Center Plaza next to Total Wine, is closing its doors after losing its lease. The store is scheduled to close Feb. 16. According to a store manager, the owners are trying to find another space to occupy. For now, customers can receive at least 40 percent off items in the store.

Kmart
The Big Kmart on St. Andrews Road is closing after its lease expires on April 30, The State reports. The Irmo area store is the third Kmart to close in three years. Customers can still visit the stores in on Two Notch Road in Columbia, West Columbia and Lexington. NewSpring Church recently opened in the old Kmart on Bush River Road.
Raceway
The Raceway gas station located on Bush River Road near Walmart recently shut down. There was no notice of why the station closed, but there are plenty of gas stations in the area for motorists to fill their tanks.
