Suspect Sought in Shooting at Hotel Near Bush River Road
Three people were involved in a verbal altercation inside a hotel room when one person shot the other two people early Saturday morning.

Two people were being treated at local hospital Saturday after they were shot by an acquaintance at a hotel near Bush River Road.
Deputies responded to an aggravated assault call just after 4 a.m. at the Palmetto Inn at 127 Morninghill Drive, Richland County Sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Curtis Wilson said.
Three people were involved in a verbal altercation inside a hotel room when one of the individuals presented a weapon and shot the two victims, Wilson said.
The unidentified suspect then fled the scene. The two victims were transported to Palmetto Richland for treatment for their non-life threatening injuries.
The Richland County Sheriff's Department is still investigating.
