Terminix, Red Cross to Hold Blood Drive Wednesday

Terminix Service Inc. is hosting its second annual blood drive in honor of active military service members and veterans.
The blood drive will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Terminix Service training center, 3618 Fernandina Road, Columbia.
Appointments can be made at the American Red Cross' website by clicking on “Make a Blood Donation Appointment,” entering the date and zip code 29210, and then clicking on Terminix’s Appointment Schedule.

The event is open to the public, and New York Famous Hot Dogs will be selling hot dogs in the parking lot during lunch.
Terminix is also partnering with Blue Star Mothers to collect nonperishable and individually packaged items for care packages to send troops overseas.
