Man Sought After Female Grabbed Near Strom Thurmond Wellness Center
The second-degree assault occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Lincoln Street.
Police at the University of South Carolina are looking for a man accused of inappropriately grabbing a female near the Strom Thurmond Wellness Center Tuesday night.
The second-degree assault occurred at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Lincoln Street, according to a university crime bulletin. A woman told police a male approached her near the wellness center's parking lot and asked her for directions. As she was walking away, the suspect inappropriately grabbed her. The suspect then left the area.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s with facial hair and a white hat.
