- On Sunday night, the University of South Carolina's women's basketball team beat U-Conn in a 64-49 victory to win the NCAA Women's Basketball tournament. The lady Gamecocks won their second title, after winning in 2017. Coach Dawn Staley has led her team to the Final Four three times in the last five tournaments. (The Washington Post)
- This Saturday, the SC Food Truck & Beer Festival is coming to Columbia. Columbians can head to the festival at State Fairgrounds at 12:00 p.m. where tickets are $10 for general admission. The festival advertises that over forty food trucks and fifty types of beer, seltzers, ciders, and cocktails will be available. (WLTX.com)
