Wanted: Authorities Seek Man on Copper Stealing Charges
Lyndon Lamar Douglas Jr., 24, is wanted by Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott.

A 24-year-old man is sought by Richland County Sheriff's deputies on two counts of burglary, two counts of transportation of nonferrous metals and for receiving stolen goods.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced his department is seeking Lyndon Lamar Douglas Jr.
According to a press release from Lott, on Dec. 13, 2012, between midnight and 4 a.m. at 701 Blythewood Road (Fairfield Electric Cooperative, INC), Douglas broke into the business through a fence that surrounds the area and stole 300 feet of number six copper, 200 feet of 1/0 copper, and 200 feet of 4/0 copper with an estimated value of $2,500.00.

Lott said that between 5 p.m. Dec. 6, 2012 and Dec. 7, 2012, at 10770 Farrow Road (SCE&G), Douglas cut open a hole in the fence at the business and stole 685 pounds of copper from four trucks on the property with an estimated value of $5,000.
