Here are the top three stories today in Columbia:
- A woman has been charged in a deadly Columbia shooting investigation. Daveesha Baskerville has been charged with Manslaughter and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime for a 2021 shooting. Baskerville allegedly shot an acquaintance after an argument in August 2021 and turned herself into police on Mar. 13. (WIS News 10)
- A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle while trying to cross I-20 in Columbia. 41-year-old Todd Stefansky of Raleigh, North Carolina attempted to cross I-20 on Saturday and was struck by a 2013 Honda. The collision is still under investigation. (Abccolumbia.com)
- Hundreds attended the 56th Annual Carolina Classic Home & Garden Show over the weekend. The three-day annual exhibition featured workers and residents from the Midlands area visiting the construction convention. The show was first held in 1966. (ColaDaily.com)
