5 Stories You May Have Missed This Weekend
Here's a second chance to read some pieces you may have missed over your busy weekend.

Easley Patch never sleeps. We remain constantly vigilant, patrolling the city all day, all night and on the weekends, in our high-tech vehicle.
No, wait, that's Batman.
But we do update the Easley Patch site a lot everyday, including weekends and sometimes readers overlook some pieces (we forgive you.) Here's some stories we published this weekend that you may have missed.

3) Speaking of helping, the annual Sam Wyche Food Fight Bowl helps Pickens County Meals on Wheels deliver meals to shut-ins across the county. The big game is August 23 and Easley and Pickens High School students are competing to see which school can raise the most money to benefit Pickens County Meals on Wheels. One simple way to help is to shop at Save-A-Lot in Pickens, which is hosting an in-store challenge from August 1 until August 3. During this time, the public can support its favorite team by purchasing $1 pin-ups in support of either Pickens or Easley. See our story to learn more about how you can help.
4)The Pickens County 4-H program needs more volunteers to help with its many programs for area children. A Volunteer Meeting is slated for August 22. See our story on this month's 4-H events.
5) CredAbility knows financial education should begin early. Check out the tips they shared with us on teaching your kids about money.
