The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to have partnered with the American Legion Post 52 Baseball Team to raise over $1,100 at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser. Proceeds will be used to help improve the baseball team and the organization.

“We would like to thank the players and coaches of Post 52 who showed tremendous work ethic throughout the fundraiser,” said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. “The Easley community was incredibly generous and supportive this weekend and we can’t wait to partner with this wonderful team again.”

The American Legion Post 52 fundraiser was hosted on June 1, 2013, at the Applebee’s restaurant located at 5055 Calhoun Memorial Highway, Easley, SC. The organization sold 240 tickets with $140 in additional donations. Breakfast included a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.

Applebee’s is proud to partner with local nonprofit organizations as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the nonprofit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers.

Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent the restaurant chain’s latest efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
