Back to School Bash Collecting School Supplies

Music and Art Celebration collecting school supplies for Six Mile Elementary

Some local people want to help Six Mile Elementary with their school supply needs – so they're throwing a party.

The Back to School Bash, a celebration of music and arts, will be held from 2pm until early evening Saturday, August 24 at Ponderosa Park in Six Mile.

The bash is being sponsored by Mt. Olivet Wesleyan Church with help from the town of Six Mile.

There's no cost to attend, but organizers suggest a donation of school supplies (construction paper, hand sanitizer, paper, pencils, notebooks, folders, tissue, 3-ring binders, glue sticks, colored pencils, etc.)

Creekside Bar-be-cue will be selling BBQ during the fest, and have pledged ten percent of profits toward the purchase of school supplies for the supply drive.
