Barbecue Guru Coming to Sam's Club Next Weekend

Sam's Club will welcome a special guest on Saturday, July 13.

10-time Grand Champion Pitmaster Jack Waiboer will be at the Easley store giving out samples of his barbecue.

The event will be held 11am – 4pm at the store, which is located at 309 Rolling Hills Circle in the Easley Town Center shopping center.

Waiboer is a Kansas City Barbecue Society Pitmaster.

A co-host for GrateTV, Waiboer is the co-founder of the Southern Barbecue Network and the co-owner of host of the CarolinaPit Masters Barbecue Cooking School, a two-day cooking school that guides students through planning, selecting, preparing, cooking and presenting four different types of BBQ; chicken, ribs, pork butts and the ultimate challenge whole hog.

Whether students are aiming to cook BBQ professionally or just wow their family and friends at a backyard cookout, Waiboer and his crew promise to take their BBQ skills to the next level.

That same day, Sam's Club will offer free health screenings from 11am – 3pm.

The screenings include total cholesterol, glucose, macular degeneration, blood pressure, body mass index and vision screening/testing.
