Benefit Planned for Easley Firefighter

A benefit in October will give the community a chance to give back to a man who has served it for over 20 years.

Easley Firefighter Lonnie Joe Lesley is battling stomach cancer. A benefit to help Lesley is slated for Saturday, October 12 at Pope Field Park in Easley from 10am – 5pm.

From 11am – 4pm, BBQ plates will be sold for $8.

The benefit will also feature live entertainment, raffle prizes and a Bike Raffle Run & Cruise-In.

Registration for the Bike Raffle Run begins at 9am October 12 at Pope Field Park. The first bike will be out at 10am.

Cost is $15 per bike - $10 per rider.

The run will have cash prizes that will be paid out at 4pm. You must be present at the pay out to win.
