Big League World Series Unveils New Website
Tournament committee gearing up for this year's series and new website will help them stay connected with players, coaches and fans.

The Big League Baseball World Series (BLBWS), a division of Little League Baseball, launched its new website, www.bigleagueworldseries.com, today.
The new design reflects the Big League World Series' mission to provide relevant and timely BLBWS information to players, coaches, and fans.

“It is time to take our web presence to the next level,” said Jon Humphrey, BLBWS Tournament Director. “This site reflects the thinking and efforts of the BLBWS Tournament Committee, as well as our commitment to delivering an outstanding BLBWS tournament experience.”
BLBWS worked with Blue Lion Digital, which is based in Easley.

“We are honored that the Big League Baseball World Series selected our team to design and develop their new site,” said Bryan Owens, Principal at Blue Lion Digital.
Enhancements to the web site include:

Clean User Interface – allows the visitor to get as in-depth as they choose with easy to navigate information.

The website was built with a “mobile first” approach which means the site is equally accessible on the device of your choice.

The updated design features large “hero images” that underscores what the BLBWS is all about – the love of baseball.

A new Information page consolidates relevant information for players, coaches, and fans.

The Media page has videos, brochures, and a commemorative poster available for download.
The News page has relevant news stories about all things BLBWS.
A totally new Social Media experience incorporates a live Twitter Feed and links to the BLBWS Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages – connect with us.
The Big League World Series recently announced the umpires of this year's series, which will be held July 24-21.
Easley stories will be a part of the Little League museum, which is being redesigned in time for Little League's 75th anniversary next year.
Little League International CEO Stephen Keener told Easley Patch earlier this year that Easley provides players from all over the world with a "World Series experience" each year.
