BLWS Host Team To Be Announced

It's hard to believe, but the 2013 Big League World Series is less than six weeks away.

This year's series will be played from July 24-July 31 at the J.B. “Red” Owens Recreation Complex in Easley.

On Monday, fans will find out who will be representing South Carolina on the host team.

The players on the host team will be announced at a press conference at the rec complex at noon on Monday.

The championship game is slated for 8pm, Wednesday, July 31 and will be broadcast live on ESPN.

The series would be not successful if it wasn't for the dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly during the series and in the weeks and months leading up to it.

If you'd like to help with this year's series, a Volunteer Sign-up Day will be held from 2pm - 4pm Sunday, July 7th at the 3-field tower at the Owens Complex. Volunteer forms will be available.
